About This Blog

Gardening in Uinta County certainly can be challenging, but it isn't impossible.  As Master Gardeners write about their gardening experiences and report on the experiences of community members, this blog will become a great resource for anyone in the community interested in gardening.

Using the Blog
Some of the gardening information presented is universal.  It is true no matter where you live.  However, much of what is written is specific to Uinta County.  All photos are from Uinta County, unless otherwise noted.  Blog information is searchable either through the "Search This Blog" gadget or by browsing the "Search By Labels" list.  A neat feature about the "Search This Blog" gadget is that it also searches the Cooperative Extension websites that are linked at the bottom of the blog.  So you can find useful information on the Uinta County or University of Wyoming Extension sites, as well as the blog, all in one search.

Comments
Comments on posts are very welcome!  By sharing your experiences related to a post topic you are contributing to the pool of information.  First names are sufficient if you are concerned about internet privacy.  You can even comment as "anonymous."  There are also several options to comment using a profile you've created elsewhere.  You can subscribe to follow-up comments on the comment screen.

Following the Blog
It is easy to follow the blog without having to remember to look at it.  Several options are available in the sidebar of the blog.  You can "follow" the blog with Google or sign up to "follow in a reader."  For many people the most convenient way is to "follow by e-mail."  All posts in a given 24-hour period will be sent in one e-mail.  If there are no new posts, you won't get an e-mail.
